Jane Stark

Jane Eliza Stark, MS, is a Canadian osteopathic manual practitioner, author, and historian of osteopathy. An international workshop leader, she has taught osteopathic concepts, history, and connective-tissue approaches in more than a dozen countries and has spoken at numerous international osteopathic conferences. Her scholarly work explores the intellectual origins of osteopathy and the lives and ideas of its early pioneers. Stark has contributed chapters to professional texts published in both English and German and has published in peer-reviewed journals. She is the author of Still’s Fascia, an exploration of Andrew Taylor Still’s understanding of the fascia and its significance within osteopathic thought. Her writing is noted for its rare combination of careful scholarship, lucid style, and meticulous documentation.
